This website is operated from the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit, and why.

What we collect

We don't ask you to create an account and we don't collect personal information directly, unless you choose to email us. The site uses:

Advertising (Google AdSense). We display ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. For UK and EEA visitors, personalised advertising cookies are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner; if you decline, Google serves non-personalised ads. Analytics. We use aggregate analytics to understand which guides are useful (page views, approximate location at country/city level, device type). Analytics cookies are also gated behind the consent banner for UK/EEA visitors.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. These are retained only as long as operationally necessary.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (in practice, this is limited to email correspondence if you've contacted us).
